This Thursday, September 1, he will go to the establishment of Fanny and Dieva located in the city of Ouistreham. The brother and sister took over this local institution a year and a half ago but nothing is going right. “The restaurant has lost its reputation and they have gone from 200 to…20 seats! Faced with these difficulties, the atmosphere during services is extremely tense…and family ties are breaking”, warns M6. In the columns of Actu, the manager of this restaurant remembered the sports filming of Cauchemar in the kitchen. “At that time, we didn’t yet know that we were taken on the show. We thought it was some kind of application. And then Chief Etchebest arrived…”said Fanny.

“Basically, we called on the show, because we had a very tense relationship between us. In addition, we were losing our customers, and we couldn’t manage our card, which was too big. didn’t offer fresh products all the time, there were a lot of frozen foods”, she continued in the columns of our colleagues. And even if Philippe Etchebest is “impressive”, the brother and sister keep good memories of the shooting. “He is very nice off camera, he has a good background”, she acknowledges. Since the chef’s visit, the La Marine restaurant is still open and has had a makeover. “Even if there are fewer seats, it is more spacious and more opendescribes Fanny. We are followed by someone for six months, at the expense of the show. This person is helping us review our map.”

Nightmare in the kitchen, “a stressful experience”

“The new room is brighter, with the reorganization of the lighting and the use of light colors. A replica of the lighthouse and photographs of ships provide a marine touch.” Fanny is therefore delighted by the intervention of Philippe Etchebest and the team of the M6 ​​show. “It’s a stressful experience, but it woke us up, brought the team together in the dining room and in the kitchen and brought us to an awareness”, she rejoiced last April, after the filming of Nightmare in the kitchen.
