This Friday, February 2, an episode of Nightmare in the Kitchen will be rebroadcast on M6. Philippe Etchebest goes to Bon-Encontre, a small town in Lot-et-Garonne, to help Levana and Olivier who took over, a little over two years ago, the only restaurant in the city. Problem: they had to close just a few days after opening due to confinement. Since then, apart from a few regulars who pass there regularly, customers have deserted the place. Philippe Etchebest will quickly notice that the restaurant is a real shambles and that the couple formed by Levana and Olivier are not as united as they let on.
The famous chef’s visit to Lot-et-Garonne took place around four months ago. From, The Center Innthe restaurant run by Levana and Olivier, is always open. The couple also has very good memories of Philippe Etchebest’s visit and now hopes to make a new start, as they confided to our colleagues at Sud Ouest. The establishment is open every lunchtime and Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. The Auberge du center de Bon-Encontre has a website which promises future customers “all the richness of traditional cuisine”.
