The world of little nightmares celebrated its 6th anniversary with dignity last April by announcing more than 12 million copies sold. But the developers have not had enough, and want to continue exploring their universe. Le Nulle-Part welcomes a new title in 2024 with Little Nightmares 3, still published by Bandai Namco. It is expected on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series and Nintendo Switch.
After visiting the Maw and the Pale City, a new destination emerges. Low and Alone, the two protagonists of this next title, land in Nowhere. The first ventures down here with a bow and arrows, while the second holds a key. These will be their only defense against the horrors straight from their nightmares. Only here, not to be overwhelmed by negative emotions is dangerous, because Residents spot positivity.
Reflection and platforms are always at the center of Little Nightmares 3, though Fear can now face off cooperatively. Each player can embody one of the two characters, allowing to pull themselves up at any time. An AI will take the place of the second player if necessary. This adventure uses new mechanics to offer its puzzles, which should refresh the series somewhat.
