The police also increased patrols. Finally, two suspects were arrested. The windows of six taxis in the city of Salzburg were smashed on the nights of Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The loot was low in each case, but there was considerable damage to the cars. The cars were parked in the Salzburg Süd district of Salzburg and in an underground car park in Lehen. Taxi drivers say there have been 100 burglaries recently. The crime scenes were spread across the city on Sterneckstrasse, Robinigstrasse, Rosengasse, Aigner Strasse and Blumaustrasse.
