Nikkei: +0.9%, 6th increase, +3,300 points since January 4

(CercleFinance.com) – And 6… and the ‘36,000’, it’s done!

The Nikkei (+0.9% to 35,902) posted a 6th consecutive session of increase for a cumulative gain of +7.5% (annual performance of +7%)… and the 36,000 mark was briefly crossed intraday : 36,008, a new 34-year record.
There only seems to be the summit zone of 38,000 at the end of 1989/January 1990 as a historical reference and potential resistance.
Starting from 32,700 this January 4 in the morning, 3,300 points have already been taken in 10 days, taking 2,000 more seems a formality by the end of January.
