Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau joins Jennifer Garner in the new AppleTV+ series The Last Thing He Told Me.

Former “Game of Thrones” star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (51) has been cast in the male lead alongside Jennifer Garner (50) in the Apple series “The Last Thing He Told Me”. This reports “The Hollywood Reporter”.

The drama series is produced by Reese Witherspoon’s (46) company Hello Sunshine, which secured the rights to the book adaptation by author Laura Dave (44). Dave and her husband, screenwriter and Oscar winner Josh Singer (49, “Spotlight”), will serve as executive producers along with Witherspoon, her colleague Lauren Neustadter and leading lady Garner.

Mother and stepdaughter search for missing father

Hannah (Garner) forms an unexpected bond with her stepdaughter Bailey (Angourie Rice, 21) in Laura Dave’s novel, which was only released in May 2021 and made it to the top of the New York Times bestseller list. Together with the 16-year-old, she tries to unravel the mystery surrounding the mysterious disappearance of her husband Owen (Coster-Waldau).
