During the second “Star Academy” bonus, one of the candidates, Julien, was moved on stage by a surprise from Nikos Aliagas after singing with Louane.
It’s been a week since viewers have known the candidates for the new edition of the star Academy. On TF1, every week, they will be able to see them evolve and progress in singing, stage performance or even dancing, and hope to get first place. Among the students of the new class: Julien, 24 years old. In an interview with France Bleu, the young man explained to what extent music had changed his life: “I stopped stuttering at 20and I can confirm to you that this [le chant]it saves lives, literally.” Since then, Julien has stood out with two moving performances, performing “I promise you” by Johnny Hallyday on the first prime stage, then “Broken Vow” by Josh Groban. Two titles that echo the death of his fathera difficult ordeal for Julien to go through. “I had a really hard time letting go. Whether for my brothers and sisters or for me, my father was more or less a god. We didn’t say for a single moment that it was going to end even though he was sick”he confided in front of the cameras.

This Saturday, November 11, it was to his little sister, Mélissa, that Julien wanted to pay tribute. The young man was chosen to sing the song “Secret” on stage with his interpreter, Louane. “I’m very, very happy because it’s a song that’s close to my heart. I have two main dreams in my life: make music and start a family. And this song makes me think of the future children I will have, but also to my little sister, who is the apple of my eye“rejoiced the candidate.

After a new performance full of simplicity and filled with emotion, presenter Nikos Aliagas came to meet Julien to ask him about his little sister. “I think she’s watching from the house, that’s why I’m looking at the camera”smiled Julien. “Me, I rather believe that she is there”replied Nikos Aliagas pointing to a young woman in the audience. Very moved, brother and sister jumped into each other’s arms to the applause of the audience. Questioned by Nikos Aliagas, Mélissa did not hide her pride at seeing her big brother at the castle of Dammarie-lès-Lys: “It’s fabulous, I look at it every day, even during lives when I’m at work“, she confided. Julien can count on the support of his little sister, who concludes: “I am extremely proud of him because he is natural. He is as he is, he doesn’t change. This is our Juju.”
