France has been jubilant since the qualification of the French Fifteen for the quarter-finals of the Rugby World Cup. On this occasion, a major concert was organized to support the team this Thursday, October 12, 2023 in the Rugby Village located on Place de la Concorde in Paris. A concert named All with the Blues with Nikos Aliagas at the helm as well as numerous singing personalities including Mika, Patrick Fiori, Black M, Naps and Patrick Bruel. After very strong words from presenter Arthur, as well as many other stars of the small screen, Nikos Aliagas wanted to open this fabulous evening by paying a vibrant tribute to the victims of the attacks in Israel.
Upset by the recent attacks in Israel, Nikos Aliagas spoke with great emotion, advocating peace and fraternity: “ We are not going to lie, faced with the tragic events of recent days, it is even more important to maintain meetings that bring fraternity and popular communion around men and women of good will like the artists that you will discover this evening“.
Nikos Aliagas held back his tears
Very moved, Nikos Aliagas wanted to make his voice heard during such a large-scale event. With tears in his eyes, he added live on TF1: “Our deepest thoughts go out to all the victims of terrorism, barbarism, war, but also to their loved ones who live painful hours in fear, waiting and mourning. The misfortune that befalls them affects us all and all of humanity. We are thinking particularly this evening of those who are suffering, and we are also thinking of the world that we will leave to our children tomorrow. »
A meaningful message supported by the artists present for the occasion who made the decision to open this concert event with John Lennon’s hit,Conceived. A choice justified by the host himself just before leaving the microphone to the numerous singers: “Our artists will unite their voices and their hearts with a cult song that has become an anthem, a tribute, a meditation, an ode to peace so as not to stop living and to still be able to hope for a better world.“.
