On Saturday (October 23, 2021) Nina Flohr stepped in front of the altar to say yes to her Prince Philippos of Greece and Denmark. For this she chooses a very eye-catching look. We noticed four things about it.

Nina Flohr: Bridal look in a class of its own

1. Wedding dress or haute couture?

The dress that Nina Flohr, 34, wears to her wedding originally comes from Chanel’s autumn / winter haute couture line. The dress is originally black and has a mullet cut. That means it is shorter in the front than in the back. For Nina some changes were made to the elegant dress. The meter-long train was also applied afterwards.

2. Does Nina have something to hide?

Nina’s choice of outfit is certainly not surprising, after all, she is a big fan of the French fashion house. Her dress is not well received on social networks. Many users express astonishment about the cut of the dress. “Does she have something to hide,” asks one follower under a post on a Royal fan account, while another suspects: “Is she pregnant?” The fact is that the dress falls very far around the belly, basically a classic babydoll cut with which you can hide a growing tummy very well. The huge bow appliqué also cleverly distracts from the center of the body.

3. Antique tiara from royal stock

In addition to the bride’s extravagant dress, the piece of jewelry she wore on her head becomes almost a minor matter. But the antique corsage tiara is a very special piece with a great story and therefore also needs attention.

The tiara comes from the possession of Queen Anne Marie of Greece, mother of the bridegroom Prince Philip. Anne Marie, for her part, had received the tiara as a present from her mother, Queen Ingrid of Denmark, for her 18th birthday. It consists of a corsage brooch with pearls and diamonds that Queen Ingrid inherited from her grandmother, Queen Victoria of Sweden. A piece of jewelry with a long face. That Nina Flohr can now wear it to her wedding – a loving gesture from her husband’s family, because her sisters-in-law Marie-Chantal and Tatiana had already worn the piece at their weddings.

4. The focus is on the dress and tiara

An extravagant wedding dress and a tiara with a wonderful meaning – Nina Flohr obviously doesn’t need more on her big day. She hardly wears any other jewelry. Only a delicate pearl bracelet adorns her right arm, she wears neither rings nor a chain or earrings. So she lets the two eye-catchers, the dress and the tiara, stand and act for themselves. Your bridal look looks intense and detailed, but not overloaded.

5. The bridal bouquet

Nina also relies on restraint when it comes to the bridal bouquet. The bride holds a simple bouquet of a few white and cream ranunculus in her hand when she says I do with her lover. Ranunculus in white stand for innocence and purity, so they are very suitable for a bridal bouquet and are accordingly very popular with brides.
