Nine people who don’t know each other are brought together in a fitness center for 10 days, some to lose weight, others to rest. Everyone is ready to give their all to achieve their goal, but everything will become much more complicated than expected…
CAST: WHO WILL BE IN NINE PERFECT STRANGERS SEASON 2?
Nicole Kidman will return in Season 2 as the enigmatic Masha Dmitrichenko, but no other Season 1 actors will reprise her role. This season 2 will only be composed of new characters.
The cast will consist of Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus, The Last of Us), Liv Ullmann (Persona), Dolly De Leon (Triangle of Sadness), Maisie Richardson Sellers (The Originals) and Aras Aydin (Escape).
WHAT TO EXPECT ?
Initially, Nine Perfect Strangers billed itself as a miniseries, calling for no sequel. It is an understatement to say that its renewal, announced last June, created the effect of a surprise.
If the plot of this second chapter is still secret, we nevertheless know that it will take place in a completely new setting: the Swiss Alps. The concept will be exactly the same as in the first season, namely a handful of characters gathered in a wellness center run by Masha Dmitrichenko.
RELEASE DATE: WHEN IS NINE PERFECT STRANGERS SEASON 2 COMING?
A release scheduled for 2024 would have been possible, but due to the writers’ and actors’ strike which is currently continuing in Hollywood, everything suggests that the filming will be strongly postponed. Nine Perfect Strangers is not expected to return to screens until 2025.
WHERE TO SEE IT ON STREAMING?
In the United States, the series is broadcast on the Hulu platform, but in France it is available on Prime Video. The M6 channel has acquired the rights for a TV broadcast.
