It was time for Nintendo to join the party by announcing a new Direct. This will be held tomorrow, June 17, at 4 p.m. and will be broadcast via YouTube. As always, finally. The show will still be quite long this time, which suggests a good list of games to discover. Or to rediscover, because some announcements will probably be reminders.
This time we started with 40 minutes of show dedicated to the releases of the second part of the year 2024. This will therefore be all the games coming between July and December on the Switch, whether they are Nintendo games or not. The big question obviously concerns Silksong, whose rumors suggest an upcoming release. Nothing is less certain however, since all the people who spoke of an announcement for the Summer Game Fest finally retracted.
If his presence is therefore more than uncertain, another absentee has already appeared. With this Nintendo Direct, the company is taking the lead by reminding that the Switch 2 will not be there. Nothing surprising since the Japanese giant has until March 2025 to unveil it. In the meantime, we risk having to endure a few more remakes and remasters.
