Nintendo announces Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon

While we waited years to have Bayonetta 3 hands, Nintendo and PlatinumGames are announcing a new opus called Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon. This prequel will allow us to learn a little more about the origins of the witch Cereza.

Cereza before becoming Bayonetta

One of the unexpected announcements of these Game Awards fell in the Nintendo camp with a full-fledged opus for the Bayonetta license. In Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, we are not in front of an ultra nervous beat’em all but a game that seems more laid down with exploration and puzzles to solve. This cute artistic direction and this poetic atmosphere have something to upset our vision of the license, but the proposal is very interesting for the moment.

We will therefore find the witch Cereza during her very young years.we can in particular experience his encounter with his first demon, Chechire. The latter will also be a constant companion for the girl since it seems to be an essential extension to defend against enemies and move objects. Even if we wait to see a little more before fully enjailler, we appreciate in any case this desire to extend the universe on the part of PlatinumGames.

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon will be released on March 17 exclusively on Nintendo Switch. A demo is already available for owners of Bayonetta 3, by recovering the old book Les Portes de l’Enfer in Rodin’s shop.
