What to expect from the presentation?

Nintendo promises an event lasting around 40 minutes that “will focus primarily on Nintendo Switch games coming out in the first half of 2022”. As we said, it’s a Nintendo Direct without a suffix, so it’s the manufacturer’s most important format and the one where it reserves its juiciest novelties.

In an announcement every word counts and when Nintendo promises to talk “mostly” about games planned for the first half of 2022, it leaves the door open for a final trailer of an expected game which would aim for a later date in this period. Most of the presentation should still focus on this beginning of the year.

So what can we actually expect? This presentation should allow Nintendo to come back to the big releases of the coming months: Triangle Strategy (March 4), Chocobo GP (March 10), Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp, Kirby and the Forgotten Land (March 25) or still Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.

Obviously the big unknown: will we see the sequel to The Legend of Zelda Breath Of the Wild? Officially the game is scheduled for 2022 without further details or title. If Nintendo plans it for the middle of the year, it could be an opportunity to talk about it again with an additional teaser.
