For the time being we’re calling Nintendo’s next generation of consoles the Nintendo Switch 2, but as history has shown, the Japanese publisher’s consoles have always been given new names and not just a new number.
The current Switch has been around since 2017 and many gamers are already looking forward to the next generation. A developer console for this is said to have already arrived at a studio in Spain and Nintendo could soon present the console in a presentation. “Nash Weedle” writes about this possible leak on Twitter.
While it’s still a rumor, we’re getting closer and closer to Nintendo’s next console. Activision boss Bobby Kotick is said to have already revealed how powerful the Switch 2 will be.
