Nintendo Switch: Lidl sells affordable storage expansion with plenty of space for games

Interest in the Nintendo Switch has been unbroken for years. Anyone who has been using the console for a long time and has bought a lot of Switch games will notice that things get tight without a large memory card. The internal memory is not exactly generous. Lidl can help. In the online shop, the discounter offers a microSD memory card licensed by Nintendo with 512 gigabytes of storage space for less than 60 euros.

The microSDXC card from the well-known manufacturer SanDisk offers enough performance with a read speed of up to 100 megabytes per second and a write speed of up to 90 megabytes per second to be able to play games smoothly on the console. Screen recordings and screenshots can also be saved to the storage.

In the turquoise color variant, the microSD also looks more attractive than the usual black memory cards. Of course, you can’t just use the memory expansion with the Nintendo console. It can also be used with smartphones, action cams, MP3 players and other devices.

Currently, even larger memory cards with a terabyte of storage space are much more expensive. The 512 gigabyte version is therefore a favorable compromise, and there is enough space to store a lot of games on it.
