Nintendo Switch Online: an approaching release date for the new Nintendo 64 game in January 2022

Nintendo Switch players can now officially enjoy a few MegaDrive and Nintendo 64 games via the Nintendo Switch Online + Additional Pack, an upgraded subscription at €39.99 per year. The manufacturer expanded the catalog last month with Paper Mario and plans to do it again this month with Banjo-Kazooie.

Its entry into the Nintendo 64 toy library of the Switch is close: its release date has just been set for January 20, 2022, trailer and summary in support.

This action game, released on the Nintendo 64 console in 1998, features an unlikely duo: a brown bear named Banjo and a Breegull named Kazooie. Together, the duo embark on a wild quest that uses their wide range of combined special moves. It all begins when the evil witch Gruntilda kidnaps Tooty, Banjo’s little sister, and Banjo and Kazooie set out to bring her back, venturing to Spiral Mountain, along the shark-infested coast of Treasure Trove Cove, through the icy perils from Freezeezy Peak, and beyond. But with Kazooie spending most of his time in Banjo’s backpack, they’re like two heroes in one! Although they can bicker from time to time, when the two are working together, nothing can stand in their way. Now you can join them on this adventurous journey into a magical world!

Alternatively, you can always subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online classic to enjoy online play (and a selection of NES and SNES titles) for €19.99, why not via Amazon.co.uk.
