As can be seen on the plan opposite, this future “building dedicated to development” will be inserted between the head office (bottom right) and the first building already devoted to R&D efforts, built in 2014 This 12-storey steel structure is expected to be completed by December 2027, with a total area of 38,000 m² devoted to the company’s future projects.

In addition to the integration of Super Nintendo World spaces within Universal Studios parks in Japan, and soon in the United States, Nintendo’s new facilities also include the opening of Nintendo OSAKA, an official store managed in its own name at the end of the year 2022, and the Nintendo Museum, an area that will look back on the rich history of the company with numerous products on display. Its inauguration is scheduled for the course of the 2023 financial year, which ends for Nintendo in March 2024.
