While nothing suggested it, it would seem that Professor Layton will soon be making a comeback. After long years of waiting, players will once again be able to interpret budding detectives this time on Switch.
During its Direct of February 8, 2023, Nintendo indeed shared a short trailer to present its new title, Professor Layton and The New World of Steam. Here the publisher has however just opted for the teaser since apart from the name of the game, the video does not tell us much.
No release date, no plot and even less gameplay. The only thing we will know about this new opus of the adventures of Professor Layton is that it has the merit of existing. And even if the Nintendo Direct announcements were supposed to only concern games planned for the first half of 2023, given the few elements presented here, we can think that we will have to be patient before we can really get started in this new Professor Layton.
