NiP and Astralis reportedly agree to transfer star dev1ce

One of the biggest stars of the CS:GO scene is reportedly set to return to Astralis. Danish Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz, currently on the Ninjas in Pajamas bench for almost a year, has finally found common ground with his former structure, Astralis, who would like to bring him back. According to the latest rumors released by Jaxon, the player would have agreed with his managers for a buyout of contract at $ 600,000, far less than the million that was originally requested.

This transfer has also been announced for more than a month now, and the amount was the only point that still blocked the side of Ninjas in Pajamas, which had officially announced that it wanted to separate from the star during the summer. Still according to rumours, farlig could also be on the way out to make way for dev1ce, which would complete the 100% Danish roster including k0nfig.

On the dev1ce side, the player has won everything with Astralis during his first stint in the team (Berlin Major and IEM Katowice in 2019, London Major in 2018 and Atlanta in 2017, or the ESL Pro League S7 and S8), a far cry from his performance with the Ninjas. Five times in the HLTV top 3, record holder for the number of Majors won, dev1ce had been sold to NiP for 1 million by Astralis, one of the most expensive in esports. The club would make a great financial operation by recovering it for less.
