Against all expectations, the NISA Showcase 2022 which has just been released was not the occasion for the publisher to announce the arrival in the West of Disgaea 7, which was only made official in Japan recently. On the other hand, we had the right to 4 game locations so far confined to the Archipelagowhich should appeal to fans of Japanese productions, as well as a new glimpse of a shoot ’em up furious.
The latter is none other than Raiden IV x MIKADO which was released on Switch in 2021 worldwide (sold €29.99 on Amazon), then on PS5 and PS4 in Japan last February, this time developed by MOSS (no, not the mouse). A port of these versions, with releases on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (Steam) had been announced at the end of July for the beginning of the year 2023 and we now have more precise dates!
Raiden IV x MIKADO will therefore be available on these five platforms on January 31, 2023 in North America and February 3, 2023 in Europe. Only English will be available for the texts, which shouldn’t bother too much for a shoot ’em up. An edition Deluxe will then be marketed, containing in addition to the game its digital soundtrack and a poster.

We can lay our hands on it on PS5, PS4 and Switch, still in spring 2023with English texts and the dual-audio with Japanese, and obviously an edition Deluxe featuring the game, the digital soundtrack and a mini art book.
Put on your bag and loosen your belt before diving into the heart of this Dungeon Crawler mixing adventure and survival. Monster Menu: The Scavenger’s Cookbook spices up the classic SRPG formula with cooking-based gameplay mechanics. Indeed, at first you will have to create your characters, collect resources, ingredients and objects during the exploration phases and take part in tactical battles against monsters. Then, return to the camp to use what you have collected to prepare meals that will help you for the rest of the dungeon.
