(CercleFinance.com) – Nissan Motor and Nissan Motorsports & Customizing (NMC) today announced the appointment of Shinichi Kiga as Executive Director of Nissan’s Super GT GT500 teams.
Shinichi Kiga, who joined Nissan Motor in 1990, has extensive experience in engine and powertrain development, as well as product planning.
As chief engineer of the revolutionary KR20DDET engine, he oversaw the development of the world’s first variable compression ratio engine.
He was also named executive director of Nissan’s Super GT GT500 teams.
