Local councilor Reto Nause discussed the situation on Tuesday with representatives of the organizations “Mass-Voll”, “Freiheitstrychler” and “Friends of the Constitution”. In the opinion of the City of Bern, a solution was found in the talks.
In the aftermath, however, the organizations rejected the agreements made on Tuesday evening, as the city security department announced on Wednesday.
As a result, the city of Bern is still confronted with two unauthorized rallies on Thursday evening, because there are also calls for a counter demo. A few days ago, the city authorities made it clear that they would no longer tolerate unauthorized rallies.
