At Florian Silbereisen, the No Angels are making their live comeback today. But the performance did not go completely smoothly.
Today, Saturday (February 27th) the time has come: The No Angels are celebrating their big comeback with an appearance on the ARD show "Schlagerchampions – the big festival of the best" (8:15 pm). And even if the viewers are only now enjoying the live qualities of Lucy Diakovska (44), Nadja Benaissa (38), Sandy Mölling (39) and Jessica Wahls (44), the show was already due to the Corona requirements recorded a week ago. How chaotic it was before the show and what the reason for it was revealed by moderator Florian Silbereisen (39, "Das Album") to the "Bild" newspaper.
"Up until shortly before the performance it was turbulent because Lucy's Corona test result came very late. Therefore, the angels first had to rehearse in groups of three. But then the test was negative and all four were allowed to stand on stage in the show," said Silbereisen to "image". Despite the problems in advance, the band was well prepared: "You noticed that it was a special gig for them. It is always nice for me to see that even full professionals like the No Angels are excited and with a lot of passion trembling towards an appearance ", explains the moderator further. He is happy that the No Angels will celebrate their comeback in his show, after all, nobody can ignore the "No Angels hype".
ESC candidate makes his live debut
The performance of the No Angels will not be the only one where the audience will certainly listen more closely. Jendrik Sigwart (26), Germany's hope for the "Eurovision Song Contest 2021", will also perform his participation song "I Don't Feel Hate" live for the first time at the "Schlagerchampions". The accompanying video was released on February 25th.
