No injuries – Mure penetrated the barn: fire brigade rescued cows


A mudslide went off on Sunday morning in Winklern: The mudslide went off in the area of ​​the Penzelberger Güterweg and tore away trees and rubble. She broke into a stable, the cows could be saved. A street in Heiligenblut was flooded.

Not only did the mudslide in the so-called Mühlgraben tore away trees and debris, it also penetrated the stable of a 61-year-old farmer. The cows inside were rescued by the fire brigade. The alarmed emergency services also began the clean-up work immediately. There are no injuries.

In Heiligenblut, too, there were blockages in a stream directly above Apriacher Landestrasse (L 20) in the area of ​​the Fleißkehre. The water overflowed and carried mud onto the road. The L 20 had to be closed. The FF Heiligenblut moved out to protect the adjacent buildings from the water and to loosen the blockage.

The fire brigades also had to move out in Millstatt: Two trees fell over there and blocked the bridge of a driveway.
