No injuries! – Regional train thundered into truck-trailer combination

A collision between a regional train and a truck on Monday evening ended lightly. The truck with a trailer got stuck on a level crossing in Bruck (Pinzgau) around 6:50 p.m. The train crashed into the team and only came to a standstill 300 meters away.

The truck, which had transported an excavator on a low-loader trailer, was trapped between the embankment and the train. The driver was apparently able to get to safety in time. Nobody got hurt. According to initial information, there were twelve passengers on board the train at the time of the accident. The Bruck fire brigade was on a large scale. The closure of the route and the clean-up work were still ongoing at the time of going to press. The train has to be recovered by a special ÖBB recovery train. The property damage is enormous. The “Krone” will continue to report.
