No Man’s Sky: Small delay for the Switch version, take-off scheduled for October

No Man’s Sky continues its inexorable expansion and is preparing to welcome a PS VR 2 version, in addition to the many major updates that must certainly be in preparation on the side of home HelloGames. We were also expecting a Switch version for this summer, as the last Nintendo Direct told us, but we will ultimately have to wait until early fall to be able to take the game everywhere with you.

A PS5 physical version on the same date

It is therefore via a new trailer that we learn that No Man’s Sky will only arrive on October 7 on Nintendo Switch, both in digital version and in box version. This version obviously includes all the updates released since the launch, whether Outlaws or Companions.

Sean Murrayfounder of Hello Games, speaks about this Switch version:

No Man’s Sky on this tiny handheld device feels both completely natural and utterly improbable. It was a real gamble for our small team. No Man’s Sky is built around procedural generation, which means the console generates everything you see. It makes it so much harder to bring our game to something like the Switch, but I think this team never seems happier than when they’re trying to do near impossible things. »

On October 7, we will also find a physical version PlayStation 5 which will also be on saledescribed as a remaster, with also all the updates released to date.
