No More Heroes III: Release date on Xbox and PlayStation, Suda51 imagines Ryan Gosling in the role of Travis for a film

No More Heroes III won’t be a Switch exclusive for much longer. The game of Suda51 has already announced its arrival on other platforms, and we now know a little more about the date on which Travis Touchdown will land on Xbox and PlayStation, just as we now know who the Japanese creator would like to see play the main role in a possible film No More Heroes.

The other versions of the game are coming soon

First, Marvelous tells us that No More Heroes III coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series on October 6 in Japan. For the moment, we do not yet know if this date could also concern the West, knowing that at home, the title is also expected on Steam.

A live presentation of the PlayStation 5 version will take place on June 30 at 2 p.m. with Junya Enoki (Damon Riccitiello) and Katsuyuki Konishi (Henry Cooldown), and will be visible on YouTube.

Ryan Gosling as Travis Touchdown, right choice?

Suda51 also gave an interview to Shacknews, relayed by VGC, in which he was asked if he imagined one day that a film No More Heroes can be produced. When the question of the actor who could embody Travis comes, he then answers:

For Travis Touchdown, I would probably choose Ryan Gosling. And as a director, probably James Gunn. And if we had to orient ourselves to a Japanese director, so I would go for Takashi Miike. »

Nothing too surprising for the two directors mentioned, since he has collaborated with them in the past, respectively for Lollipop Chainsaw and No More Heroes 2. But imagining Ryan Gosling as Travis is a bit more surprising, although we imagine the actor is perfectly capable of it. But a No More Heroes film is a priori, and unfortunately, not on the agenda.
