And now, here is the story of a young mother who was forced to change her baby’s first name since no one could pronounce it correctly. This young mother is Hannah Sands and decided to tell her story on TikTok. Of Australian origin, Hannah Sands is dating a Brazilian named Paulo.

And the pronunciation problems start with Paulo who everyone calls Polo. “My husband’s name is Paulo, it’s not that complicated. But here, everyone calls him Paul-O and it bothers him a lot,” explains Hannah in her TikToK video. And when their baby was born, the parents chose a name that they thought would be easy to pronounce. Their baby’s name is Raúl.

Born in May 2022, little baby Raul ultimately seemed doomed to experience the same fate as his dad. In fact, no one can pronounce his first name. “Oh, like Raul, like Paul with an R. Roll”, explains the mother. Very annoyed by the situation, the young parents decide to react.
