“It is not a question of changing the calendar as it has been determined, it is simply a question of thinking about how we can be simpler and clearer for our compatriots. Everyone knows that the ban on rental of so-called G+ strainers is already underway, but everyone also knows that it poses a certain number of problems for co-owners”, declared Mr. Le Maire on Wednesday at a press conference, on the occasion of the presentation of the 2024 budget. .

He thus seemed to review his position after criticisms emitted on Wednesday within the ranks of the majority, where some are calling on the contrary for an acceleration of the process, such as the President of the National Assembly Yaël Braun-Pivet (Renaissance) who does not does not want to “send back to Saint-Glinglin” this ban on thermal strainers.

In Le Parisien, Mr. Le Maire indicated that with inflation, the situation had changed, believing that it was necessary to be “very pragmatic and see if we can shift the calendars”.

“I consider that everything that was decided before the rise in (interest) rates deserves to be looked at again in the light of this crisis.
