Communication from the Super Earth of Helldivers 2 has once again been short-circuited by a leak. The Ministry of Truth is investigating the veracity of information spread without their consent.
Whenever new content is in the works for Helldivers 2, the excitement from fans is palpable. This is again the case for this leak of a closely watched feature (but which we hope this time lives up to expectations).
Industrial espionage in Helldivers 2
We clearly feel that Helldivers 2 has now moved up a gear. After a first month complicated by bugs and overloaded servers, the addition of new content is at a frenetic pace. More recently, we notably had a new War Obligation or even a mecha following a community event. This one had also made itself known before its time via a leak, and history repeats itself again.
The latest leak once again concerns a mecha. However, this time it seems to carry two automatic cannons. The difference with the first is radical, the latter being equipped with a rocket launcher and a heavy machine gun. Thus, the Helldivers arsenal will continue to be enriched with new toys. We can bet that this new metal giant will prove particularly effective against armored enemies.
Mecha deployment approaching?
If we follow the progress of events relating to the release of the first mecha, that of the second should not take long. In view of the leaked gameplay, its development seems almost complete in any case. It could therefore be possible once again that the studio will put the Helldivers 2 community to work to unlock this new model.
However, let us hope for the fighters for democracy that this new weapon is more effective than the previous one. The first mecha was not to the taste of the players because it was considered far too fragile. However, the developers have been much more responsive in balancing the game this month. It is therefore not excluded that the mecha will soon receive a little attention to regain the favor of the Helldivers.
