For the first time in 10 years, a coach will go without talent in the final. While she presented her last three candidates in the semi-final this Saturday, October 16, all were eliminated. During the evening, the candidates competed in groups of three for a place in the final. Unfortunately, none of Gjon’s Tears, Demi Mondaine and Will Barber got the precious sesame. Coach Zazie will therefore go without talent to the final show.

This is also a great first in the history of The Voice: until now, none of the show’s coaches had arrived without any talent in competition, recalls LCI. It must be said that this edition is a bit special. For The Voice All Stars, a particularly demanding process was set up to qualify, allowing only one talent to be saved per team. But above all this anniversary season bringing together the most outstanding talents of The Voice and The Voice Kids, the competition is therefore fiercer.

Relentless competition

Although very moving, the representative of Switzerland came second in Eurovision this year, Gjon’s Tears, failed to surpass Anne Sila. The candidate of Florent Pagny collected 78% of the votes with her resumption of I promise you by Johnny Halliday.

Demi Mondaine, also a small protégé of Jean-Paul Gaultier, bowed to the former candidate of The Voice Kids Manon. Finally, Will Barber, last hope of the evening for Zazie to see one of his talents qualified in the final, was also eliminated. The one who had toured the world during his first participation, with his resumption of Another Brick In The Wall from Pink Floyd, lost to Terence who took last place in the final.
