Made official last year, the GTX version of the Volkswagen ID.3 should hit the roads in 2023.

Remember that this will be a “muscular” version of the electric car signed Volkswagen.

Volkswagen ID.3 GTX: see you in 2023

Already affixed to the Volkswagen ID.4, the “GTX” badge will also adorn the German group’s other electric car, namely the ID.3. Last year, through Ralf Brandstätter, the firm formalized a new muscular version of its electric car launched in 2020. A version that should be found in concessions during the course of next year.

Indeed, this Volkswagen ID.3 GTX should be launched alongside the restyled version of the basic model, expected for 2023. A sporty version which could take up certain elements already seen on the GTX electric models available, namely a 77 kWh battery and a double electric motorization, for a total power flirting with 300 hp (and 460 Nm of torque), without forgetting an all-wheel drive.

A Volkswagen ID.3 GTX that should be a little less efficient than the ID.X concept presented last year, but which still promises first-class (electric) prowess. It remains to be seen now when the latter will be available, knowing that the Volkswagen group recently announced that stocks of electric vehicles were already almost exhausted in Europe and in the United States for this year 2022.
