On Instagram, Lucie Bernardoni has just paid a beautiful tribute to her former friend Grégory Lemarchal. This Tuesday, April 30 corresponds to the 17th anniversary of the death of the former Star Academy winner.
Fans of the first seasons of Star Academy remember: April 30, 2007, Grégory Lemarchal, big winner of the fourth edition, died tragically at the age of 23following a long fight against cystic fibrosis.
The announcement of his death then caused a shock wave within public opinion which had seen the young man win the famous telecrochet three years previously but also flourish in the world of music with a first album in success. In parallel, Grégory Lemarchal was in the media at the time because of his romantic relationship with Karine Lemarchand who therefore lost his companion suddenly.

Seventeen years after the tragedy, it is Lucie Bernardoni, one of his former comrades from the Star Academy who was also his rival in the final, who speaks first to pay him a beautiful tribute, on the occasion of the anniversary of his death. “Because there are no words strong enough or well chosen to talk about this day in April, make a donation to @associationgregorylemarchal” wrote the one who became a professor on the show which revealed it twenty years ago.

As a reminder, the parents of the deceased created the Grégory Lemarchal association after his death, which raises awareness of this disease but also helps the relatives of people who suffer from it. The association also works to raise funds for medical research in order to find cures for this rare pathology.
