Nobody wants that? Far from it! The Netflix series “Nobody Wants This” is scheduled to start a second season in 2025.

Just as there is a spark between a sex podcaster and a rabbi in “Nobody Wants This”, the viewers have apparently also fallen in love with the rom-com. The series, which was released in September, is a hit for Netflix and that’s why The streaming service has already announced a second season. The new episodes will be shown as early as 2025, as Netflix announced.

“More than anything I could have dreamed of”

In the first season, the recently separated Rabbi Noah, played by Adam Brody (44), meets the podcaster Joanne (Kristen Bell, 44) at a party and things get really hot. But the story of the two of them is far from being told. “The reaction from fans has been incredible and beyond anything I could have imagined. I’m so happy to be able to continue the story for a second season,” executive producer and series creator Erin Foster (42) said in a statement of the service quoted.

Eric Kaplan (53) is new on board for season two. The producer and television writer has also worked on “Malcolm in the Middle”, “Futurama” and “The Big Bang Theory”, among others.

The first season of the romantic comedy premiered shortly after its release in September to the top of the in-house, global series charts managed and achieved around 15.9 million views from September 30th to October 6th alone. According to the streaming service, “Nobody Wants This” was recently placed in the top ten series in a total of 89 countries.
