Nokia announced the signature of a framework agreement with Eurofiber Group, the main provider and operator of Open Network infrastructures in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany.
The agreement accelerates the deployment of fiber optics in several countries in Europe. “It enables the development of ultra-fast, high-capacity fiber optic networks with the highest possible service standards,” the group says.
These networks will improve and extend more than 60,000 km of Eurofiber fiber infrastructure.
Jan van Tetering, Senior Vice President Europe at Nokia, said: ‘This framework agreement is a solid foundation for our business ambition of joint growth in Europe, sharing the same values to operate ethically, sustainably and securely.’
