(CercleFinance.com) – Orange and Nokia are extending their partnership in order to develop and monetize network capabilities.
The partners will allow developers to use Nokia’s Network as Code platform and Orange’s developer portal to create applications leveraging the 5G network in France and Europe.
The goal is to accelerate innovation by leveraging advanced network features, such as dynamic bandwidth allocation and predictive maintenance.
A hackathon will be organized to encourage the creation of innovative applications. This partnership will also make it possible to further involve the developer community and offer a pilot program in certain European countries, taking advantage of Orange’s 5G Labs network.
