(CercleFinance.com) – On the occasion of the MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona, Nokia announces the world’s first deployment of its 5G Edge Slicing solution on a direct commercial network with mobile operators Cellcom and Telia.
The solution, now available to its global customer base, enables carriers ‘to offer their enterprise customers next-generation, secure, reliable and high-performance virtual private network (VPN) services over commercial 4G and 5G networks’.
“Once launched, both companies will be able to offer new services to their customers, generating new revenue opportunities, as well as partner with cloud infrastructure and application service providers,” continues the Finn.
