Far from its glories of yesteryear, Nokia nevertheless continues to persevere in the world of smartphones. The Finnish manufacturer has just announced a new device whose durability is reminiscent of that of the famous Nokia 3310.
Her name ? XR21. His mission ? Accompany you anywhere.
Nokia unveils the XR21, a smartphone that relies on its robustness
Last February, Nokia unveiled three new smartphones at affordable prices: the G22, the C22 and the C32. While the G22 placed more emphasis on its repairability, and the C32 promised high-quality photos, the C22 provided solid durability. A rather complete range in short, which allows the smallest purses to get their hands on a smartphone that corresponds to their budget and their uses.
A few days ago, the manufacturer presented a completely new smartphone. Called XR21, it promises unfailing durability. Literally.
Finally a real heir to the Nokia 3310?
Before getting to the heart of the matter, namely its solidity, the Nokia XR21 is equipped with a 6.49-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD + resolution. This offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz and can be used even if your hands are wet or you are wearing gloves. It is powered by Snapdragon Soc 695, has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. On the camera side, we find a main camera of 64 megapixels and an ultra wide-angle of 8 megapixels. Finally, you can count on a 16-megapixel sensor for your selfies.
Determined to follow in the footsteps of its big brother, the 3310, the Nokia XR21 looks extremely robust. Equipped with a screen benefiting from the highest Corning protections, the smartphone especially benefits from the military standard MIL-STD-810H. It also meets the call of IP69K certification, which is the highest waterproof and dustproof protection. Finally, it is powered by a 4,800 mAh battery rechargeable at 33W.
Offered in two colors, namely fir green and midnight black, the Nokia XR21 is already available for purchase at a price of 599 euros.
