(CercleFinance.com) – BT announces today that it has become the first operator in Europe to bundle four low- and mid-band radio channels (2.1GHz, 2.6GHz, 3.4GHz, 3.6GHz) into a direct 5G network Autonomous (SA), using Nokia’s 5G radio access network technology in EE’s live network spectrum.
BT says this aggregation on a standalone network is a major step forward in the evolution of 5G infrastructure, effectively combining multiple transmission bands into a single connection.
Each new channel thus increases capacity and speed directly on customer devices.
