(CercleFinance.com) – Nokia announces that its electronic and optical fiber optic network modules manufactured in the United States will meet the current ‘Buy America’ guidelines unveiled on Tuesday by the United States Department of Commerce.
Based on the latest proposed requirements, it says it is on track to become the first Buy America certified technology vendor, eligible for use in the Commerce Department’s Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) program.
The Finnish telecommunications equipment manufacturer specifies that it will thus be able to provide its products and services to critical projects aimed at reducing the digital divide in the United States.
