(CercleFinance.com) – Nokia has announced that NOW Telecom has selected Bell Labs Consulting, a subsidiary of Nokia, to create a national network design for standalone 5G and national broadband network design and planning.
Nokia will also design and implement a pilot 5G network at several sites in Metro Manila.
‘ With Nokia’s support in network design and planning, as well as its automation software to manage network operation, NOW Telecom will be able to meet the growing demand for reliable and secure digital services from individuals and businesses’ says the group.
Stefan Wilhelm, Head of Bell Labs Consulting at Nokia, said: ‘The study carried out by our Bell Labs Consulting will provide NOW Telecom with the analysis, designs and plans needed for the phased implementation of the 5G SA network. ”
