Nolwenn Leroy confides in her mother’s anxieties

When a child arrives, “we are also seized with a fear, an anguish, which we have never known”, she explains in an interview with Pure People. And to add: “You tell yourself that you can no longer imagine your life without him. It’s crazy love, and that scares a little bit anyway.”

Since he was born, little Marin has been overprotected by his mother. He follows her everywhere, whether on his concerts or in the studio. And she doesn’t expose it on social media. We never saw his face. This desire to preserve him is undoubtedly linked to his fear of wanting to do well, and that nothing will happen to him. “We are afraid for him too because we live in a world, in relation to the climate, to the planet, where we are afraid for the future. It is a reality. So obviously we are steeped in anguish”, says Nolwenn.

Why is Nolwenn’s son called Marin?

During this interview, the singer from Brittany also explained why her son was called Marin. She wants to raise him to be a curious child, open to everything, having “thirst for living, traveling, going on an adventure”. “We want him to be brave but not too reckless either”, she adds. Also, luck for the artist that she is, the little Marin is “very sensitive to music”.
