Monday January 10, 2022 marked the launch of the new season of the show The best bakery in France. Norbert Tarayre and Bruno Cormerais set off on the roads of France to meet craftsmen and discover their work. A program “tour throughout the year”, as our colleagues from Tele-Leisure, which requires a very large organization from Norbert Tarayre. In March 2020, the chef revealed to the general public in the third season of Top chef had announced divorce from his wife, Amandine. “You had noticed it for some and others not at all. We took our time before announcing it publicly, for the well-being of our families, our loved ones and especially our daughters. Everyone is fine and everything is going well between us. (…) Since then, we have each rebuilt our lives and we sometimes see each other with our respective spouses.“, he said in the caption of an Instagram post. Norbert Tarayre has since found love and is even became the father of his fourth child, Elydjah born in June 2020.

All these upheavals had an impact on the chef’s professional life. It is now necessary to combine everyone’s schedules before knowing when the filming of The best bakery can be done. “I’m going through a divorce, so I see my daughters [Gayane, 14 ans, Laly, 13 ans, et Aliya, 8 ans, ndlr] Every two weeks. I had a little baby, Elydjah, in June 2020, with my new partner, Abi. (…) We spread out the filming a little more so that I could see all my little family in full every other week.”, he revealed in the columns of Tele-Leisure, on newsstands Monday, January 17, 2022.
This new season is therefore very trying for Norbert Tarayre who has only one thing in mind: to satisfy everyone. In this quest, he has great support. “I’m lucky, I have a companion who follows me. But we will be careful, this time, not to be too absent“.
