SEOUL (Reuters) – North Korea’s regime on Friday named Choe Son Hui a new foreign minister, the North Korean news agency KCNA reported.
Kim Jong-un outlined goals to boost the country’s military power and defense research to protect North Korea’s sovereign rights, KCNA added, without giving further details.
The plenary meeting of the Workers’ Party Central Committee was held from Wednesday to Friday, the agency said.
