North Korea fires missiles off its east coast

SEOUL, Feb 14 (Reuters) – North Korea fired several cruise missiles off its east coast on Wednesday, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said.

According to the JCS, the missiles were fired at 9 a.m. Wednesday (0000 GMT) off the city of Wonsan in southeastern North Korea.

“While increasing surveillance and vigilance, our military is cooperating closely with the United States and closely monitoring North Korea for additional signs and activities,” the JCS said in a statement.
