North Korea has again fired ballistic missiles towards the open sea.
This is reported by the South Korean military.
At least four short-range missiles were detected on Saturday morning (local time) after launching in North Korea, the general staff said in the capital Seoul.
The short-range missiles flew about 130 kilometers towards the Yellow Sea and reached an altitude of twenty kilometers. Among them was apparently an ICBM.
According to South Korean information, it probably crashed in mid-flight. According to military experts, this indicates a failed test. ICBMs have a range of thousands of kilometers and can be armed with nuclear warheads. According to information from Seoul and Washington, several North Korean tests of such missiles have failed this year.
