Four years after its release, Northgard continues to update. While a new clan, that of the rat, has recently landed in the game, Shiro Games, the independent studio in charge of its development, has just rolled out a major update, bringing many improvements to the real-time strategy game. Many areas are covered.
The user interface, for example, is revised to be clearer and more logical. The multiplayer mode is also affected by some changes, with the introduction of a new tier, Gemstone, sitting between Gold and Rimesteel. The military path has also been completely revamped with the addition of new skills and passive traits. Finally, based on player feedback, several clans have been balanced, such as the Deer clan and the Horse clan. A preview of these changes is available in the video below.
Naturally, several bug fixes are applied with this update named Sword & Solace. You can find all the details about it on the game’s Steam page.
