Available for almost four years in final version, after about a year spent in early access, Northgard isn’t done with add-ons, though., even if Shiro Games is working on other games, like the recent Wartales and the newly announced Dune: Spice Wars. The RTS taking place in Norse mythology has indeed welcomed a new clan on January 26, the Rat Clan.
This is led by Warchief Eir, a powerful shaman and ruthless warrior, who taught some of his methods to his clan so that they, too, could survive the most serious injuries. Naturally, with this clan you will be able to train shamans, powerful fearless fighters, also capable of healing themselves, but also of coming to the aid of their allies.
Here are the main characteristics of this new clan:
- The clan has more villagers, but they arrive injured.
- The clan does not have access to houses (all non-mystical buildings provide housing).
- Corpses are cremated at the shaman camp, producing Lore and attracting new villagers faster.
- Overwork replaces Feast and boosts all productions at the expense of your workers’ health.
