Norway’s Equinor, Europe’s biggest gas supplier, said on Wednesday it had tightened security measures at its facilities following an alleged sabotage of Nord Stream pipelines in the Baltic Sea.

“We have increased our level of emergency preparedness in Norway by taking security measures at our offshore and onshore facilities,” a company spokesman said, declining to give details.
