Nostalgia quiz: impossible to recognize these 9 cartoons!

As is the case with every decade, the cartoons of the 80s and 90s also include an impressive gallery of animals, and among them many dogs. Here are nine of them, but in which cartoons have you seen them?

At AlloCiné, we like dogs, and that’s good because there are doggies in the cinema, and not just a few. This has allowed us to offer you, in recent months, three quizzes dedicated to this faithful pet.

The first focused on dogs seen in films from the 80s. The first image showed us a dog alone in an outdoor parking lot. No catch, it was obviously the famous Einstein, about to board the DeLorean to test Doc’s new invention allowing time travel in Back to the Future.

We also found Barney, the poor dog garlanded by the awful Gremlins in one of their many pranks, or the more disturbing Cujo in the adaptation of Stephen King’s novel.

Another quiz took stock of some doggies from 90s cinema. Unsurprisingly, we found a big white labrador in the company of actor Jean-Pierre Bacri, a labrador who would soon transform into Alain Chabat in Didier , directed by the actor himself. Another image showed us a pyramid of six rottweilers, particularly well trained by Benedict in Last Action Hero.

In the third quiz, the dogs this time came from film posters, which we took care to zoom in on, the aim of the game being to try to guess which posters these dogs could have come from.

While some images didn’t seem too difficult, like the one showing Cosmo, the dog with psionic abilities from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3, others were much more difficult to identify, like the French bulldog on the Deadline movie poster.

For this new quiz, we stay with the dogs, but we leave the cinema, since there are nine doggies seen in cartoons from the 80s/90s that you will have to recognize. Up to you !
